Topsham has ten pubs. “ The Topsham Ten” crawl is popular with Exeter Uni Students during Freshers week.

I recommend The Passage and Lighter for river  views. The Globe as a good central local pub and The Bridge Inn for real Ales

and quirkiness. The Turf Hotel can be reached by The Sea Dream Ferry in the summer or take the small ferry across the other side of the Exe and walk by the canal to the Turf.
